The two packs, Prophecy of Telor and Spirit Queen’s Torment, add to an already rich selection of previous releases that have been going strong since 2021 and the release of the highly successfully crowdfunded and revised version of the game.
Adding to the HeroQuest Collection with Nearly 30 Quests
The campaign saw $1 million worth of funding directed for the revival of the iconic brand, along with Kellar’s Keep and Return of the Witch Lord expansion packs at the time. Hasbro and Avalon Hill, which join and operate the new game together, have put considerable effort into keeping it vibrant, and fans have responded positively.
The years since have been one excellent release after another, with additions such as The Frozen Horror expansion and Rogue Heir of Elethorn character collection. There has also been the Rise of the Dread Moon and Path of the Wandering Monk, among others, adding to the franchise’s rich world.
The positive reception has also been plenty of reason for Hasbro and Avalon Hill to keep up their collaboration and push through. The latest quest packs also add to the opportunity to embark on a new and gripping story set in the iconic universe.
Journey on the HeroQuest Path to Uncover Fresh Mysteries
In the Prophecy of Telor Quest Pack (available for $33.39 at Amazon US/Amazon UK), players will embark on a success of 13 quests to find out more about the Talisman of Lore and the prophecy of Telor. The disappeared wizard Melar was a dabbler in the occult, and the heroes will have to enter his maze and discover what secrets lie therein. Perhaps, the world is not safe at all?
The second pack, Spirit Queen’s Torment Quest Pack (available for $33.39 at Amazon US/Amazon UK), will offer 14 quests. The pack centers around Silvana, an elven sage, who is plagued by visions of her late apprentice, Nelath. Once again, the heroes will have to set out and get to the bottom of the mystery, fighting their way through a series of challenging and exciting scenarios.
