Kill Team and Salvation

A new Kill Team box by Games Workshop is coming with the Christmas assembly line seemingly working overtime. The latest option for the franchise’s fans, Kill Team: Salvation, will be available to preorder on December 23, and it will pit the Space Marine Scouts versus Aeldari Striking Scorpions in a game of cat and mouse throughout Bheta-Decima.

Kill Team Salvation Introduces Brand-New Models

The box will come with 10 all-new Space Marine Scouts and 10 all-new Striking Scorpions, along with five pieces of Mechanicus terrain, and not least, an exclusive 88-page Kill Team Salvation manual that will come with both the Kill Team rules and data sheets for all models, along with the data cards and tokens. The terrain is definitely a great bargain, with the new Kill Team box definitely packing a fantastic value.

Of course, the terrain you would get as part of the core box is a bit of a teaser for the much meatier Bheta-Decima dedicated Killzone terrain. This set comes with 18 pieces of terrain that are much chunkier and can flesh out an entire battlefield. There is a Ferratonic Furnace and a number of gantries along with nine objective markets.

Adding this one to your new Kill Team box may be a fantastic way to bash out a quick game or introduce new players to the unending variety of the Warhammer world. Kill Team is just one of the skirmish games produced by Games Workshop as part of their attempts to introduce more players to the ever-growing franchise.

The official store release for the set is on January 13, 2024, so you won’t actually be able to introduce a bit of Warhammer Kill Team magic to your household with this particular set per se. The box was first teased on October 14.

Expected Price and a Great Addition to the Range

As usual, the Kill Team box comes with no price tag attached as it’s been well established that Games Workshop is happy to offer employee bonuses but has preferred to keep the pricing of its products hush-hush until the very last moment.

We can realistically expect the box to cost around $99, however, which tracks with other great boxes, such as the Starter Set. Salvation is definitely what you would need to get started with Warhammer Kill Team.
