Alright, Zombicide: White Death, the latest Kickstarter and board game instalment in the popular series, was already promising to be big. Now, CMON has added even more to the game, promising a TMNT Zombicide: Timecrash expansion for the base game. The expansion is going to be available to backers of the campaign as an add-on option, with the campaign raising more than $1.75 million in total funding from 451 backers.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Come to Zombicide: White Death

The expansion to the game is planning to kick the board and reset it in New York City. Let’s not dwell on the specifics of how players are at one moment caught in the frosty deserts of the Great North and the next – they are back in New York where some of the best pizza is made. With this locational shift aside, the city now faces hordes of zombies that are pouring in through a portal.

The only people… capable of stopping them are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There are also Splinter, the kung-fu mentor of the ninjas, and April O’Neil, the journalist who is very interested in the story of the TMNTs, as well as Casey Jones.

All of these characters get their miniatures. There is also a miniature for Shredder, the timeless villain in the story. The expansion will feature more goodies as well, such as 15 Foot Ninja miniatures, 7 Survivor ID cards, 7 Starting/Ultimate Equipment Cards, 4 Double-Sided Game Tiles, 6 Zombie Cards, a necromancer, 36 Chi tokens, 6 Pizza tokens and more.

So Many Other Goodies to Get with the Kickstarter

The expansion will be available for $60 in retail. However, players may actually get the expansion for $50 if they choose to back the Kickstarter campaign instead. In the meantime, there are tons of other planned and available expansions for the game. You may pick Eternal Empire, Crossfire Pack, Warlords of the Middle Kingdom, and so much more as some of the goodies that you can add to your basket!

There are just nine days left until the Kickstarter campaign wraps up, so you may be interested in checking it out sooner rather than later. In a word, Zombicide: White Death is going strong.
