Facts, why should they even matter, right? Well, Games Workshop thinks they should and is now willing to hire a Brand Assurance Representative, who will be working as part of the company’s Licensing and Media team to ensure that the brand’s products are represented accurately in the video gaming industry.
Warhammer has spawned a number of exciting video games over the past years, from Vermin Tide to Dawn of War, to Total War, make it so that you have plenty to pick from. However, fans have pointed out that some of the games have not been entirely canonical, and have employed some strange twists and plot turns, that failed to live up to the IP, diluting its focus.
Games Workshop will now pay its new Brand Assurance Representative to ensure that this does not happen. The candidate would have to fastidiously research subjects and track submissions and approvals of what has been authorized to be included in a video game.
The job is definitely demanding, as Warhammer’s universe is so vastly rich and intricate – not to mention the few bad works that have come out of it – that a person fit for this job would have to truly understand and enjoy it.
The position is available for the company’s Nottingham’s officer in the United Kingdom, with the last day to apply set for Tuesday 15, August 2023. The position is hybrid, meaning that the right candidate would also have to be in the office once or twice a week.
Meanwhile, Games Workshop promises some very tempting and worthwhile perks for the person joining, including 33 days holiday per year – including public holidays, and a matching contributor pension scheme up to 7.5%. There is also a staff discount from 25% to 50% on the company’s products for those of you who are going to try and join to get your hands on even more Warhammer! You may apply at the official Jobs Games Workshop in the next seven days.
