A new Everdell is setting sail. The aptly called Everdell: Farshore by Starling Games is the latest chapter in the well-established franchise and game system that has animal critters gather together and against each other to build the most prosperous city. Although most other versions of the game had the critters stay at home on firm ground, in Farshore, stalwart sailors leave for bountiful lands and far shores.

Farshore is a completely standalone version of the game system and franchise, and it is already available for preorder on Tabletop Tycoon’s website with a 25% discount from the official price of $100. The game is currently selling for $75 and is available for pre-order with shipping by August 31.
In the country of Farshore, which is called the setting of the game, critters will once again work together to advance work on their city as they also forage the land and set sail to the oceans surrounding this country to collect more resources.
There are plenty of components in the box as well, with 155 cards, 24 map tiles, 10 island tiles, 50+ Treasure tokens, and lots of other goodies that will flesh out the latest chapter of the Everdell world and help you enjoy it as much as you can.
As the publisher puts it: “The wind is high. The sun is breaking the horizon. It is time to set sail for adventure.” Everdell now counts dozens of instalments in the game, including a very slick-looking Collector’s Box. The new game has been illustrated by Jacqui Davis and stays true to the original look of the series.
