Zombicide is definitely going heavy on the cross-over with other franchises. After CMON, the publisher announced that it is bringing three character packs featuring characters from the hit TV series Supernatural, the company is back with even more releases, among which are The Boys and Iron Maiden.
The Boys features two new character packs that will bring you members of the two groups of anti-heroes who will for the nonce try to cleave through zombie hordes as a team. Pack #1 brings you The Seven, including Homelander, Queen Maeve, The Deep, Black Noir, Starlight, A-Train, and Soldier Boy along with their minis.
Pack #2 will have you swinging with The Boys, including Billy Butcher, Hughie, Annie ‘Starlight’, Kimiko, Frenchie, Mother’s Milk, and Terror, woof, with their minis and character cards. There is also a laser baby you can use! Then, if you want to add a bit of challenge to your gameplay, you can get Character Pack #3 and use the Supes from Pack #1 as Abominations to introduce even more challenge to your gameplay.
Iron Maiden’s Eddie Gets… Lots of Minis in Zombicide 2E
And if that wasn’t enough, then wait until you hear about the Iron Maiden Character Packs. Once again, there are three separate ones, with Eddie, the band’s mascot featured in Character Pack #3. This pack actually includes two large-sized miniatures.
Character Pack #2 will have six miniatures of the mascot Eddie. Another six unique picks are contained in Character Pack #1, and yes – it’s Eddie again. Truth be told, there probably isn’t too much sense in scooping all of them, but you can rest assured that they look pretty cool and there is something deeply satisfying in watching a Death Reaper Eddie… reap the undead!
You may look at the new packs as just thrills with no substance, but fans of the respective franchise, and Iron Maiden, know how cool this can be. Zombicide is one of the best zombie board games of all time, and the constant influx of content is definitely giving fans tons of ways to experience the game.
