Gale Force 9 (GF9) has confirmed a new World of Tanks: Miniature Game starter set that will allow you to quickly get into the tabletop World War II action, with a number of authentic tank models of 1:100.

The starter set brings you everything you need to play the game, minus a second person, the publisher quips. All four tanks in the starter set are pre-assembled and pre-painted, meaning that they are battle-ready right out of the box.

For each tank, you will receive a tank card to help you get started by looking up the stats and all relevant stats information. Those tanks include the British Centurion Mk, the American T29, the German Maus, and the Soviet IS-3

The game also features crew, module, and upgrade cards which will further deepen the strategic breadth of your tank battles by letting players bring onboard the most capable technicians and soldiers that boost the heavy machinery’s action and give it specific strategic advantages.

A Perfect Opportunity to Start Playing World of Tanks: Miniature Game

There are 31 different cards that allow you to further personalize your tanks and try and outwit the opponent. Right out of the box, you will also get some terrain pieces to help you set up your table and have a more engaging experience, accounting for terrain advantages and obstacles that block the line of sight.

There are also various tokens that will help you count the damage, register tank speed, and stay focused on strategic decision-making in the game. Much like in the video game, it’s based on, World of Tanks: Miniatures Game tries to reward smarter and better plays, meaning that you will get to inflict critical hits, kill the opponent’s crew, and cripple vehicles as you duke it out.

There are different ways to achieve this and sometimes luck will be all that decides a game. A deck of 32 cards lets players use it to apply effects is also very important if somewhat chancy. The new starter set is a great way to get introduced to GF9’s interpretation of the game.
