Gamelyn Games is working on a new instalment in the Tiny Epic series, a family of games, that have grown over the past years to feature knights, zombies, dungeons, and entire galaxies. The latest installment in the franchise is a hush-hush Noir-style and mystery-solving game titled Tiny Epic Crimes.

Latest Tiny Epic Game Is About Solving Crimes

The title is set to hit distribution in Q4 2023, bringing with new, gripping, and exciting gameplay. Players will have 48 hours to solve a murder and put their analytical skills to a true test. The culprit though is as elusive as things get, and to catch the guilty party, players would need to work with a variety of clues, including evidence found at the scene, the murder weapon, and not least, muster strong deductive skills.

The new installment is developed around the “Tiny Epic Decoder System” which has mechanics such as red-filter and special envelops to help the player-sleuths get into the mood and immerse themselves in the crime-fighting reality of Tiny Epic Crimes. One murder though is not all the bad things happening in the world of Tiny Epic Crimes, as there will be side-hustles to work as well, with more crimes committed, albeit less serious. Perhaps some of those could lead you to solving the main one?

This is for you to find out. The game itself features plenty of cool components, including 4 double-sided player mats (pretty much a signature style for the series), 79 cards, 25 wooden tokens, 60 cardboard tokens, and more.

Known Tiny Epic Designers Work on New Game

The game of course is the work of Tiny Epic game veterans, including Nikoletta Vaszi, known for both Tiny Epic Dungeons and Tiny Epic Vikings, and Scott Almes who designed Tiny Epic Galaxies, but is also known for his outstanding non-franchise Heroes of Land, Air & Sea game.

The game is expected to be available for around $35 with plenty of guaranteed fun promised in this tiny new box of big surprises. The Tiny Epic series were coined with the release of the progenitor game, Tiny Epic Kingdom which set the entire franchise in motion back in 2014. The original game was designed by Scott Almes and he has collaborated with a number of other designers to bring more of these great titles to bear.
