Ravensburger has announced two new editions for the Disney Villainous franchise with Introduction to Evil (Disney100 Edition) and Filled with Fright both coming later in 2023 as part of the constantly expanding library of games set in the popular game system.
Each box will have its twist and characters to explore. Introduction to Evil (Disney1000 Edition) comes with four villains, including Captain Hook, Price John, Ursula, and Maleficent. Although the characters were already available as part of Being Wicked, a limited edition in the series, they will be returning with some gameplay improvements and the opportunity to experience them anew.
This edition of the game will be available on June 20, 2023, and can be bought at Target. The game will only be found on shelves in Target and come with a new box design featuring Ursula, as well as platinum rainbow-foil packaging and lustrous movers.
Single Character Expansion and Gen Con Tournament
The other box, Filled With Fright is the first time the company has decided to try solo character expansions. The box contains just one playable character, Oogie Boogie, and it will offer players the opportunity to also play with Jack Skellington and the Pumpkin King. This box will only be available in October 2023.
Meanwhile, you can rest assured that Ravensburger will have more activities planned for Villainous in the upcoming Gen Con Indy 2023. One of the things to look forward to is Disney Villainous.
Earlier this year in May, Ravensburger also announced the Villainy Expansion which focuses on Star Wars and coincided with the international Star Wars Day – May 4. If you want to join the upcoming tournament at Gen Con, you need to submit your registrations by June 14.
