The One Ring 001/001 card fetching a seven-figure bounty on its… ugh, head, and a side dish of paella, along with a “good time” around some of the world’s hottest tourist venues, has been found and graded. The news comes after weeks of speculation and bidding wars between different celebrities and hobby store companies around the world who have offered eye-watering prizes for the person who retrieves the card from a booster pack and hands it over.

This Is The Ring

Initial fears that The One Ring 001/001 may end up in a warehouse somewhere or on a dusty shelf due to lack of interest in a local hobby store have been dashed, with the cards already rated by PSA, an agency that specializes in grading sports and hobby cards. PSA has issued a Mint 9 rating, which is shy of the 10 that is usually given to new cards.

This is because the card has most likely had a flaw with its foiling or even an ink error in the printing, which has cut it short of the Mint 10 rating. But guess what? This is the only The One Ring 001/001 card that has been found and confirmed, which means it’s down to that person to pick their reward, as there are many stores, companies, and individuals now on the hunt for a card.

Right now, the person in question has several options. The can hop over the Gremio de Dragones and get the $2 million offer, or they can explore any of the other offers that are running in seven-figure territory anyway. Paella or no paella, the card has been drawn and it’s now down to hobby companies such as Dave & Adam’s, one of the bidders who shared the news on the company’s Twitter.

Accepting Dave & Adam’s “Inferior” Offer?

This is not to say that Dave & Adam’s are the first to get the card, although the shop is indeed offering $1 million for the car – shy of the $2 million by the rival company. Regardless, the person seems to be in touch with Dave & Adam’s which is supposedly the inferior offer. In any eventuality, someone is very likely to celebrate the arrival of Magic The Gathering: Universes Beyond as one of the best sets in the game’s history.
