Good news for all Warhammer fans! Games Workshop will release two more Warhammer 40,000: Boarding Patrol boxed sets, featuring the Orks and the T’au Empire, along with an exciting lore piece – the Ark of Omens: Farsight book.

Boarding Patrol: Orks will include a brand new Kommando Boss model – the Blood Axe Kommando Snikrot. He will be leading a boarding party of 5 Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, 10 Kommandos, a Kommando Grot, and a Bomb Squig.

And while a new Komando Boss model is exciting, the real change comes with the Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire box set. What’s exciting about this particular box set is that it features none other than Commander Farsight and the Farsight Enclaves, which is a huge step forward to an full-fledged Farsight Enclaves Army, something T’au fans have long been asking for.

Commander Farsight will also be getting a whole new model, and he will be leading a force of 3 Crisis battlesuits, 10 Fire Warriors, and a group of Drones. The Crisis battlesuits will have a diverse selection of weapons at their disposal, ranging from from infantry-shredding burst cannons to elite-melting fusion blasters. Their Early Warning Overrides mechanic is extremely potent in Boarding Action games thanks to their bonuses to Overwatch.

Huge Expansion on the Boarding Actions Mechanic

And while we’re on the topic of Boarding Actions, the upcoming The Ark of Omens: Farsight book, apart from continuing the lore of the first three books, will also expand on the Boarding Actions mechanic. It will be introducing new rules for multiplayer games, which can be free-for-alls or two-on-two team matches, adding a more diverse gameplay experience.

The excitement doesn’t stop there – the new Dark Depths missions will allow you to mix up your battlefields for even more diversity. Not only will Ark of Omens: Farsight expanded on the Boarding Actions of T’au and Orks, but also for the Asuryani, Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas Boarding Patrols, which will add further Stratagems and Enhancements for your crew.

Another good news for collectors is that Ark of Omens: Farsight will be available in both a standard edition and a collector’s edition. The Collector’s edition will have a silver foil-embossed cover, printed page edges, and includes a black ribbon page marker. Both editions of Arks of Omen: Farsight, and both Boarding Patrol box sets will be up for pre-order this weekend.
