Michael Myers Returns in a Fresh Boardgame Horror Story
The tabletop game is based on the 1981 horror movie, HALLOWEEN II, and it features the character of Michael Myers, the murderous antagonist who wreaks havoc on a small town and is hell-bent on killing Laurie Strode. The campaign is still to wrap up on July 13, 2023, giving you plenty of time to secure your copy of a board game that pays homage to a cult franchise.
Players in the game, up to four of them in fact, will be working together to try and save Strode who has become the mad obsession of Meyers. In pursuing her, though Meyers will not relent, slashing everyone in his path and unleashing a wave of bloody killings all to get to the woman.
The game itself focuses heavily on the nostalgic feeling that fans will get out of seeing the darkly illustrated board which features quite a few horror scenes lifted from the movie. You get to pick from six basic characters, including Mrs Alives, Sheriff Drackett, Nurse Karren, and eight more characters in the Exclusive Expansion Pack #1.
Each of these characters will bring their unique skillset, while you brave three different difficulty levels to make the game a truly challenging experience. The game focuses on asking players to collect weapons and supplies and avoid getting killed by Meyers as they do so. There are also event cards that trigger various happenings all over the game and add to the ambience of unsolicited horror.
