Flesh and Blood TCG Dusk till Dawn

Flesh and Blood was released as a highly-inspired trading card game that pushed a price tag some fans said was too steep. Well, that was mostly because of the pandemic. Early doomsayers’ portents of the decline of Flesh and Blood TCG have been wide of the mark, as the game is not only alive and kicking, but it’s also eating in the bulwark of such genre front liners as Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon.

Perhaps the best way to gauge the success of the game is the 2023 Flesh and Blood World Championship by Legend Story Studios, the publisher, which is taking place in Barcelona, Spain on November 16 – 19. The event will feature a hefty prize pool worth $1,000,000, which demonstrates the good financial standing of which the company.

There will be 90 events to partake in, with a final match bringing the two most successful and skilled players head-to-head. The game innovates the TCG genre by creating decks built around a hero rather than a variety of monsters and spells that work well together. A TCG never felt so personal before.

Recent Release of Dusk Till Dawn Shows a TCG in Good Standing

The event in Barcelona is reading to bring quite a few bodies in attendance, with the release of the recent Dusk till Dawn set already getting some 17,000 people around the world to join the release event that saw the introduction of 236 new cards and the return of popular heroes.

In a press statement detailing the release and the events, Legend Story Studios CEO James White has hailed the success of the Dusk Till Dawn release and the reception of fans who turned up in strong numbers to welcome the game.

These admitted that there was a good number of new players to Flesh and Blood as well as established veterans, pointing out the vibrancy of the game and its thriving ecosystem. It’s not immediately clear how many people the Barcelona event will gather, but Magic: The Gathering was able to pull off 7,551 entrants for its Most Grand Prix in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015.

Flesh and Blood, excellent as it is, will probably struggle to catch up to these numbers any time soon.
