Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game is said to be big – how big exactly is not immediately known, but the game is billed as a Magic: The Gathering killer by Ravensburger, the studio that is developing it.
To help keep things organized, though, the trading card game has received a dedicated Companion App, which will allow players to build their decks, organize their decks, and keep a firm track of their decks, set wish lists, and even track down cards that they may be interested in buying, trading for, or otherwise acquiring.
The Companion App comes with a deckbuilding feature to facilitate deck constructions and help players have a reliable place where they can store all the information and access it on demand. Ravensburger has also planned the Companion App as a tutor to help players quickly onboard with the world of Disney Lorcana and learn how to play the game in an efficient and reliable manner.
Organizing Disney Lorcana’s Massive Card Collection
The game itself does not seem like your typical cut-throat TCG or let alone a MTG killer. Regardless, the game is being developed to be highly-competitive and reward deep and strategic gameplay, to say nothing of a bit of a costly venture in which you would need to bleed money to stay up to date with the meta.
Disney Lorcana is filled with characters from the Disney franchise, including Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and many others. The goal of the game is to collect 20 lore and each player-versus-player fight will come down to that.
The game features a variety of interesting mechanics and features, including items and song cards that will influence the field of battle while players are trying to utilize their character cards to be the first to collect the designated number of lore points. Each character has their own bearing on how much lore can be generated.
The Disney Lorcana Companion App has now released ahead of the official game presentation at Gen Con which will take place on August 3 – August 6, 2023. Disney Lorcana TCG is set to hit with its First Chapter on August 18, 2023 officially in the United States. The app can be download from both the Google Play and Apple Store.
