SlugFest’s Latest The Red Dragon Inn Game Is Coming to Retail
The card game is driven by scenarios that will see 1-4 players start at the basement of the eponymous Red Dragon Inn and work their way through a world that offers them plenty of challenges. The characters will be faced with a variety of challenges they will try to overcome and fulfil certain objectives as they pursue the scenarios to their end.
There are 14 double-sided maps to explore and bring players together as they attempt to complete each respective mission across 25 scenarios and five chapters. The game is intended for players aged 14 or older and plays in 60-120 minutes per scenario. The retail price has been set at $109.99 making it one of the priciest retail releases this summer.
Still, the game is expected to be worth every cent you spend on it. The game is based on the iconic The Red Dragon Inn series developed by SlugFest Games and brings popular characters from the franchise back to life.
The game will have you play through intricate and difficult scenarios and levels that will require you to cooperate and work together towards gearing your fellow allies in the best possible way if you want to see each mission through.
Each mission in the game will come with a specific objective, such as “kill all the enemies” “survive X turns,” “protect this thing until something happens,” or even still “get to this room on the map.” Each mission and level is play-tested across hundreds of playthroughs to ensure that you are always getting the best possible experience with your enemies always on the move and trying to defeat you.
