Renegade Game Studios has revealed the official date for the acclaimed Amazon Studios TV series Good Omens, based on the work of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Good Omens: An Ineffable Game has been confirmed for release on June 5 and it may be preordered from Amazon US for $25.
Good Omens will feature what Renegade Game Studios explains are five to seven different battle games throughout which players will attempt to stop the apocalypse. These missions will be cooperative, a nod to the unlikely partnership that Crowley and Aziraphale form to keep the natural order of things in the show, or book *cough*.
Amazon Studios and Renegade are Happy to Collaborate on Good Omens
Commenting on this upcoming release, Renegade Game Studios president Scott Gaeta said that the company was excited to be teaming up with Amazon Studios for this excellent release, and added:
Being a huge fan myself, it was important that we capture the spirit of the show and I think that designer, Matt Hyra, came up with something fans will really enjoy.

In the game, players set out to defeat the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Vanquish Hell, Fight Heaven, and stop the fast-approaching Apocalypse. The release of the card game is ahead of the planned return of the show’s second season on July 28, which was co-created by Neil Gaiman.
Amazon Studios’ head of licensing & merchandising Jamie Kampel was similarly thrilled with the upcoming release. Kampel said that the company was very happy to collaborate on a board game with one of the industry’s best studios and known publishers such as Renegade.
Renegade Games is not stopping here though, as Good Omens: An Ineffable Game will come in three distinct versions, each with their own box art and bonus items. All will bring players some excellent gameplay to enjoy, especially if they are fans of the show and/or the best-selling novel.
The Amazon-exclusive version will come with 12 foil versions of the character cards in the game, bringing you even more ways to enjoy the show.
